BA (U of T), LLB (Western), LLM (GMU – Antonin Scalia Law School), Stanford University Law School Advanced IP/Tech Mediation and Arbitration Certification and Arthur Wentworth Roebuck Award (Law Society of Ontario). My practice focuses on M&A transactions, restructurings and insolvencies that involve significant IP or Telecom/Broadcasting assets, as well as prosecution, litigation, mediation and arbitration of IP, Licensing and Telecom/Broadcasting cases. I lecture widely on the topics both in Canada and in the U.S. I also serve as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Osgoode Hall Law School, I am recognized in World Trademark Report's listing of the leading 1,000 World Trademark Professionals, as a Copyright Star by Managing Intellectual Property, and am listed in Who's Who International Sports and Entertainment lawyers. I hold an AV Distinguished Peer Review rating by Martindale-Hubbell, I am a Certified Licensing Professional by the Licensing Executives Society. I also serve as one of 6 Canadian members of the International Trademark Association's Panel of Trademark Mediators.
