Courtney is a lawyer, an experienced workplace and regulatory investigator and a mediator.  She is currently one of three co-founders of SLG Legal Solutions. Prior to founding SLG, Courtney spent seven years providing strategic managerial oversight to regulatory and workplace investigations in addition to maintaining her own investigative and mediation caseload. She previously held several senior positions with multiple health regulatory Colleges, including Director of Professional Conduct at the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario, and Manager of Professional Conduct at the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario. Courtney also practised labour and employment law at two prominent Toronto labour and employment law firms, where she represented clients before the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Tribunal, the Ontario Court of Justice, and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

Courtney leverages her varied experiences to bring insight, perspective, and a pragamtic approach to assist parties in reaching their own resolutions.  Having seen the many consequences and impacts of prolonged conflict, Courtney has enthusiasically embraced mediation at this juncture in her career. Courtney applies an interests-based approach to achieve fair, reasonable and durable results for her clients.
